2016-01-29T20:00:06 --> 2016-01-30T04:00:06
The eruption was probably triggered at high altitudes - no tracer like a filament/prominence was easily recognized. This must have been a big CME, but not super-energetic, considering no proton increase even though it originated in a region generally thought to be well-connected.

A minor eruption in AR 12488 evacuated the corona toward west. No CME was clearly associated.

This was a minor eruption with only a small region in the corona was seen to dim. Small post-flare loops formed on the limb.

2016-01-25T09:20:22 --> 2016-01-25T13:30:22
The corona over the limb is seen to erupt and dim. No clear filament eruption was seen, so it first appeared that this was a backside event. However, the formation of two-ribbon flare brightening (on which post-flare loops stood) shows that the eruption started on the visible side.

2016-01-25T07:20:22 --> 2016-01-25T12:00:22
First, a prominence was ejected nearly horizontally (counterclockwise) from a low-latitude region near the west limb, which seemed to destabilize another high-latitude prominence, which eventually erupted. Then there was an opning of the coronal near the region where the first prominence eruption was triggered. But this probably represented activity behind the limb, and was not related to the prominence eruptions mentioned above.

2016-01-25T04:30:34 --> 2016-01-25T08:30:34
The prominence was split into two parts, going up and coming down. The part that went up had a hotter front edge as seen in 171 A images. No associated CME was seen in LASCO data.

A filament eruption observed at the SE limb. THe filament-cavity system can be seen before the eruption. The brightenings around the filament material during eruption are evident, which may indicate plasma heating involved.

A QS filament erupted near the NW limb. The eruption leads to loop brightings at the south of the filament. The reconnection may occur between the erupting field and the ambient field.
