Description: AR 12472 had almost rotated into the visible hemisphere, when it produced the M2.8 flare. It ejected a compact filament or plasmoid pre-heated to the coronal temperatures. Although loop oscillations were seen and a type II burst was reported, the associated CME was neither wide nor particularly fast (~600 km/s), alghough quite bright in the beginning.
