Description: This M1.0 flare occuured in AR 12497. It showed some eruptive signatures, but the effect was much more localized than the C8.9 flare that had occurred in the same AR on the previous day. For example, no clear persistent dimming, consistent with the absence of an associated CME. The observed loop oscillations may be triggered by fast-mode MHD waves, indicating that these waves can be launched without a CME.
