This quiescent filament in the north hemisphere straddles the central meridian. When it eruptions it seems to rotate in a counter-clockwise direction.

2014-06-14T19:00:33 --> 2014-06-14T19:50:03
An extremely rapid (note the cadence of the movie) eruption, better seen in 171A than in 304A. No eruptinf filament is visible, neither a cavity. However, the front of the eruption manifests itself as a bright line and the change in geometry is evident.

An active region on the W limb brightens up, suddenly releasing a lot of matherial up in the corona. This material flows along the limb and forms a short-lived prominence.

2014-06-11T07:50:23 --> 2014-06-11T09:59:59
Like the previous day's successive flares (X2.2 then X1.5), the first one showed a compact ejection. But unlike the previous day's events, the second flare, although more intense in X-rays, was not more dramatic than the first one. Both flares accompanied loop oscillations.

2014-06-10T11:30:35 --> 2014-06-10T13:59:23
The first flare, at X2.2, showed a compact ejection. The second flare, at X1.5, was much more eruptive, associated with large-scale disturbances. Close to the flare region, coronal dimming and loop oscillations associated with the X1.5 flare are clear even in intensity images.

2014-05-01T20:20:03 --> 2014-05-01T21:40:03
An interesting prominence eruption exhibited unwinding twists, with most of its material returning to the Sun - in a sense a failed eruption.

An eruption right at the middle of a filament is clearly seen in 211, with opening of the overlying loops and post-eruption arcade. 304, however, demonstrates only increased flows along the filament, but the main body of the filament appears to stay intact.

2014-04-21T10:30:35 --> 2014-04-21T12:30:35
The main eruption starting around 11:00 UT was preceded by another one, which looked more like a wave in 211 A images. According to EUVI-A, the source region was not at AR 12032 but a region at N13 W103, which probably became more active after the limb passing.

A filament erupts on the NE disk. While it is barely visible against the bright disk, the dramatic expansion is trackable in the entire selected FOV. The dark band which untwists southwards as well as the bamd at the dick center which untwists northwards are visible.
