The flare seems to reflect the complex magnetic field topology of AR 12249. Side areas beyond the central flare ribbons brighten as side effects, but this flare is overall non-eruptive, not surprising for a M-class flare.

A series of four rather insignificant eruptions from a moderate-sized AR rock the connections from that AR to a leading AR near the limb, in the process sending off coronal propagating fronts of which the last one travels over a good part of the disk. ....

2014-08-05T15:12:03 --> 2014-08-05T18:09:03
A small and otherwise unremarkable spray surge results in the wave-like brightening in the quiet sun region to the North of the surge. A possible interpretation is the existing long-distance connectivity between the site of the surge (periphery of an AR on one side, the end of a filament on the other) and the northern quiet sun region. 171A and 211A did not show any prior evidence to such a connectivity.

2014-06-13T00:00:03 --> 2014-06-13T01:18:03
A faint filament eruption on the NE limb. The evolution of the shape is suggestive ok the kink instability mechanism of the eruption.

2014-05-25T00:00:03 --> 2014-05-25T16:30:03
A prominence disappearance on the NW limb. It is unclear whether eruption took place. Note the clearly defined channel that the 171A counterpart of the prominence is confined to as it evolves.

A sigmoid-shaped filament erupted, causing flaring brightenings. However, I cannot identify ejected filament material at large heights, which could imply this was a failed eruption, but still caused flaring.

A flare occurs near the west limb, accompanied by fast flows in the AR prominence, and a surge later and away from the AR futher toward the limb. This is the first event that leads to a series eruptions in nearby ARs with a possible sympathetic nature.

A small coronal cavity on the SE limb is rotating to the visible disk. It has a promience in its core. Although small in size, it has a decent contrast of a dark cavity seen in the 211 channel.
