The lack of footpoint brigtening on the disk suggests the filament was anchored to a region behind the limb.

2011-08-27T00:00:04 --> 2011-08-28T00:00:04
This prominence sits on the limb without any noticeable large-scale evolution. There is slow small-scale evolution, however. For example, little dark voids seem to travel both upwards and downwards within the prominence.

2011-08-25T07:46:04 --> 2011-08-25T09:44:04
Two spray surges, one close to the imb and one at the imb seem to take off simultaneously with a weak 211A signature of erupting matter between them, therefore suggesting a long-range connectivity between these two active regions.

2011-08-31T03:00:04 --> 2011-08-31T07:00:04
A faint vibrating filament hovering above a dome of loops lifts off. The filament is possibly destabilized by the emerging AR to the west.

2011-08-18T00:00:04 --> 2011-08-19T00:00:04
A nice set of filaments, including a circular- or ring- (actually horseshoe-) shaped filemant associated with AR 11270. For good measure, there is a nice prominence off the limb in this view as well.

2011-08-14T15:40:04 --> 2011-08-15T10:00:04
Prominence bubble in quiescent prominence on SE limb. Bubble is obscured somewhat by foreground plasma. In 211 alone, the bubble is clearly a bright loop-like complex pushing into the overheard prominence material.

2011-08-13T00:00:04 --> 2011-08-14T00:00:04
Prominence plasma visible in 304 rises from SW limb but then appears to get caught in a coronal loop "vortex" system of some kind and is "sucked" back downward.
