2011-12-03T17:34:04 --> 2011-12-03T19:26:04
Minor eruption on the W disk perhaps reconnecting two nearby filaments. This "reconnection" is observed by the flows of the plasma along the filaments during and after the eruption. This eruption is mentionworthy mainly because it happens nearly contemporary with a few other eruptions elsewhere on the disk.

2011-12-03T17:34:04 --> 2011-12-03T19:26:04
A small eruption on the E limb interesting mainly because it is contemporal with a few other eruptions elsewhere on the globe.

2011-12-02T04:46:24 --> 2011-12-02T21:08:24
A thin long vertical prominence somewhat resembling Eiffel Tower slowly takes off on the limb; the remnants flow down towards its footpoint on the visible disk.

2011-12-07T19:30:04 --> 2011-12-07T21:00:04
Eruption from AR rotating around East limb produces nice 304 "flames" and large oscillations of long loops visible to the South in 171 channel.

2011-12-07T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T19:30:04
Filament at low-latitude coming around the East limb. The filament is very dark in 304, even above the limb where it would usually be expected to be in emission.

2011-12-07T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T20:00:04
Apparent prominence bubble seen as bright 211/171 loop structure rising into 304 prominence at NE limb. Loops appear identical to other nearby polar region "xray bright point" loop systems which are due to flux cancellation. Does this imply flux cancellation is the cause of the bright loops and RT unstable bubble?

2011-12-06T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-06T09:48:04
Southern side of AR at Western limb. Coronal rain visible in 304 condenses from inflection region of loops visible in 171.

2011-12-06T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-07T00:00:04
Same location at 05-Dec-11 event. This event shows more 304 condensation and rapid drainage along loop legs.

2011-12-05T00:00:04 --> 2011-12-06T00:00:04
Moderately large QP on NE limb. 304 channel shows many flows including the usual hint of rotation of the "stalks" of the prominence.

2011-03-10T02:50:16 --> 2011-03-10T03:14:52
This flare is hardly at the A5 level, but its flux at 17 GHz (Nobeyama) is 210 sfu. See SH41A-1912 at AGU 2011 Fall meeting. STEREO images suggest no major flaring behind the west limb.

2011-11-03T22:20:24 --> 2011-11-03T22:40:12
According to EUVI/STB images, the source region was 60-70 degrees behind the east limb. It is easier to see the eruption at 193 A and 211 A than at 171 A. This preceded another eruption (already reported), which was closer to the limb.

2011-11-29T02:00:04 --> 2011-11-29T04:00:04
This eruption/opening should have been from the back side because of no obvious events on the visible side. The eruption is more easily seen at 211 A/193 A than at 171 A. This did not survive into the LASCO field of view.

This is essentially the same phenomenon that was reported as a long-lasting outflow. Now it is clear that the motions were along closed structures.

2011-11-28T07:30:00 --> 2011-11-28T09:30:00
An jet-like outflow is seen for almost two hours. It apparently interacts with filament material.

2011-11-28T04:30:00 --> 2011-11-28T08:00:00
The filament is on the front side, and yet no obvious flare associated. The eruption resuted in an extended CME (not quite a halo).
