This is an example of when the post-eruption coronal rain is more spectacular than the eruption itself. The eruption was barely visible

This spray surge on the E limb seems to pause at the culmination point, and then it wiggles and seemingly gets blown away southwards. Also, note that it has smooth and sharp northern "wall" and V-like ridges with the tup of the V looking northwards. These two things together might be suggestive of horseshoe-like cross-sectional shape.

A nice proinence evolution on the S limb. I annotated it as eruption because there is likely some reconnection and opening of the flux going on. However, I did not notice any cavity eruption or any material emitting in 304A which got ejected.

2013-04-18T08:00:03 --> 2013-04-23T00:00:03
An active region (NOAA 1726) begins emerging ~15 deg N lat and halfway to the east limb. As more and more flux emerges, its core field connects to progressively larger scale field structures, resulting in an expanding 'sphere of influence'. In this case one can see an expanding front traveling east and south away from the region center, eventually enveloping the coronal hole to the east. But the expanding influence to the north and west is limited by an existing coronal channel. Viewed at highly compressed time, it reminds one of the evolution of a post flare flux system as core fields and then higher fields reconfigure themselves to a new equilibrium state.

2013-04-17T20:00:03 --> 2013-04-19T04:00:03
Two prominences, one on polar limb, one further north rooted on backside, possibly from adjacent filment channels, erupt in succession. The polar one deflects to the north, seemingly away from the polar coronal hole which would be contrary to expectation. The more northern prminence, seen ~broadside erupts after prolonged activity of twistor/barbs, interacting with near side filamnt channel twistor/barbs as it rises.

A plasma emitting in 304A flows apparently along a (dark in 304) filament and in the end the flow splits and runs towards two different footpoints, "drawing" an upsde down gamma shape.

2013-04-11T02:10:03 --> 2013-04-11T03:20:03
The field lines threading the filamentary material in this event seem to untangle, thereby allowing themselves to straighten out and letting the filamentary material to rise or fall. The end result is the disappearance of a complex filament.

2013-04-03T19:00:03 --> 2013-04-04T12:00:03
A reasonably long filament to the east of AR11704 [which is rotating off disk] activates. Due to the presence of high overarching magnetic field presumably, most of the filament material does not escape and appears to flow back toward the sun.
