Rating: 3.0 (0=lowest, 5=highest)         Num Ratings:1
Detected by halocme, Submitted at 2013-09-23T23:10:47
2013-09-22T18:00:03 --> 2013-09-22T19:20:03
The eruption is most clearly seen in 304 A images. The lack of obvious brightening (e.g., flare) suggests that this is energetically minor. No obvious CME is associated.

2013-09-22T14:30:35 --> 2013-09-22T15:30:35
This is bright in 304 A images, very diffuse in 171 A images and dark in 211 A images. The structure of the underyling region is not clearly seen due to overlapping in the line of sight.

2013-09-22T08:20:23 --> 2013-09-22T09:20:23
This seems to be a typical example of failed eruption. The overlying loops seem to contract rather than showing outward motions.

2013-09-22T02:45:35 --> 2013-09-22T06:05:35
Motions indicating destabilization turn to an eruption, with the likely CME onset around 05 UT.

2013-09-21T18:20:23 --> 2013-09-21T18:50:23
Two jets or sprays are seen nearly simultaneously about 30 degrees separated in longitude. The one sticking out from the limb, in particular, suggests that the trajectories depend on surrounding large-scale magnetic field.

2013-09-21T09:15:35 --> 2013-09-21T10:59:35
We see dynamic motions in a prominence, but they are largely horizontal. The upper corona is hardly affected except that it is somewhat pushed back. There is no presence of this eventr in LASCO data.

2013-09-21T07:15:35 --> 2013-09-21T08:11:35
This eruption, associated with a B8.9 flare, seems to be not successful. The ejected material is seen to fall back toward the other leg. It is hard to interpret the coronagraph data, whether this eruption presents a fresh CME that overlaps with the previous one, or the features in LASCO data after 08 UT are its internal structures.

2013-09-21T01:00:03 --> 2013-09-21T03:30:03
This may be a repeat of the similar event reporeted earlier. The coronal response (dimming) seems to be more apparent in this event.

2013-09-20T20:00:03 --> 2013-09-20T23:00:03
The eruption pushes adjacent structures sideways. In particular, those to the west of the eruption may be characerized by loops cooler than 1 MK (as seen most clearly in 171 A images.) The eruption seems to result in whorling motions at the eastern leg.

2013-09-20T18:40:11 --> 2013-09-20T22:10:11
The origin of this tornado-like motion is TBD. Although the following motions are primarily downward, some of the magnetized plasma may be ejected into high corona.
