2014-11-22T12:50:23 --> 2014-11-22T19:50:23
The C2.1 flare in AR 12209 accompanied a confined filament eruption. This appears to be connected with the activation (and partial eruption?) of the filament southwest of the active region.

2014-11-22T05:55:12 --> 2014-11-22T06:25:12
The flare was again triggered in the trailing part of the active region and the confined ejections were produced in the west and southwest directions.

2014-11-20T19:30:00 --> 2014-11-20T22:09:36
The biggest active region since 1990, AR 12192, returned as AR 12209 about 1/3 of the original size. Major flares in this region were notoriously non-eruptive, and it has not even produced M-class flares since Nov 17. This one is only C2.5. It started in the trailing part of the AR with an ejection, which looked like trapped by large-scale magnetic field within the region.

2014-11-04T21:40:11 --> 2014-11-04T22:40:11
This probably represents a narrow ejection near a region of open/closed field boundary. The helical structure is hard to see.

2014-11-04T07:50:23 --> 2014-11-04T10:00:23
Two M-class (M2.6 and M2.3) flares occurred in succession in AR 12205. The second one was more eruptive. It accounted for lateral motions of large-scale structures over the limb, probably in the form of a coronal wave (LCPF) which is not clearly seen even in difference movies.

2014-11-03T22:00:03 --> 2014-11-03T23:00:03
AR 12205 seemed to be right on the limb, and the flare magnitude was M6.5. Like the previous event around 11:20 UT (M2.2 flare), a coronal wave (LCPF) and loop oscillation are clerly seen. But the propagation of the LCPF into the disk is insignificant.

2014-11-03T16:50:23 --> 2014-11-03T19:30:23
The source region should be slightly behind the limb since there is no foot-point brightening. Untwisting is more readily seen after the prominence reaches a certain height.

This appears to have triggered at the southern leg of a loop structure. No filament was seen in 304 A.

2014-11-03T11:00:03 --> 2014-11-03T12:40:03
As AR 12205 approached the east limb, the flare associated with an eruption became stronger. This one was M2.2 flare. Difference movies show a LCPF propagating clockwise beyond north pole, but loop oscillations were also seen south of the flare.
