A prominence eruption is seen to open up larger-scale corona to the south. Brighter features sticking up on the limb do not seem to be affected, indicating that the source region of the eruption was far behind the limb.

The flare ribbons form to the northwest of AR 12394. The filament that was seen to erupt lay to the northwest of AR 12393. The apparent separation may be due to projection effect.

This surge-like eruption occurred in AR 12395. What is interesting is that there were two other minor eruptiuons around this time. One to WSW near the edge of the FOV, and another to WNW slightly east of central meridian. Are they physically related?

The source region of this eruption was behind the limb because the prominence that happened to be in the field of view (in 304 A0 did not seem to participate. The eruption resulted in a bright CME, first seen by LASCO around 22 UT, which contained internal structures that indicated two filaments.

A prominence erupts with usual untwisting motions. The primary direction is far different from radial.

2015-07-19T04:00:06 --> 2015-07-19T11:00:06
Following a brief eruption, the filament underwent several hours of activation, and then erupted in a major way, producing a pair of long flare ribbons, which became a gradual C2.1 flare. It was associated with a decent CME.

2015-07-18T22:15:34 --> 2015-07-19T04:15:34
A filament in a quiescent region lifted off, mostly radially to northwest, producing a pair of separating ribbon of brightening (not quite an X-ray flare). Southern part is seen to fall back causing another brightening. As reported near real-time, this is part one of the sequence of events.

A jet like eruption was seen in AR 12388 associated with a C1.8 flare. Around the same time, a small region to the northeast launched a tiny eruption (not easily discernible without difference images). Are they related?

Three or four minor eruptions occurred in succession, from north to south (two of them) and then on the west limb. None of them may be substantial, but it may be interesting to find out if these events occurred in a short time just by coincidence.
