Another C-class flare in AR 12458. Compared with the previous one on Dec 1 at 08:10 (C3.6), the eruptive signatures are significantly suppressed even though we see overlying coronal structures open up (producing minor dimming) and post-eruption arcades form. LASCO images show a diffuse outflow which can hardly be a CME.

2015-12-01T07:45:34 --> 2015-12-01T09:00:34
This flare in AR 12458 accompanied fast-mode MHD waves, seen as a large-scale coronal propagating front (LCPF) both on disk and over the limb and narrow wave trains in the direction of 1 o'clock. Possibly because of the well-connected location, an electron event was observed by ACE/EPAM (but not protons).

2015-11-22T07:00:06 --> 2015-11-22T11:00:06
Much of the material in this confined/failed filament eruption seem to drain back toward the solar chromosphere. Bright loop footpoints at the western edge of the filament system are seen to light up as a consequence of mass drainage.

2015-11-18T21:00:06 --> 2015-11-19T04:10:06
This filament eruption seems to lose steam before material is able to be ejected out of the Sun's gravitational well. Most of the filament material seems to disappear in-situ or or to drain down along loops.

The erupting material exhibits apparent unwinding motion.

2015-11-13T21:55:10 --> 2015-11-13T22:45:10
The eruption was narrow, but it imacted the overlying corona. Around the same time, a region to the northeast also gave a minor rruption. Perhaps it was by coincidence.

2015-11-12T12:50:22 --> 2015-11-12T16:30:22
This activity led the prominence to disappear. This seems to have had no impact in the corona.

The diffuse front above the limb without a cool prominence indicates that there is an eruption on the backside.

2015-11-09T12:30:34 --> 2015-11-09T14:30:34
This is a big eruption resulting in a partial halo CME. A large-scale coronal propagating front (LCPF) is seen, but it mostly goes to the radial direction due to the coronal hole to the west.
