This is another eruption from a quiescent region. Although it is no way a spectacular event, it may have an impact on geo-space during 6-7 March largely because of its location close to central meridian. It at least shows dimming and post-eruption ribbon/loops. The eruption may be deflected eastward due to the adjacent coronal hole. LASCO images show a marginal (diffuse) CME.

2016-03-02T20:35:22 --> 2016-03-02T22:05:22
The filament that erupted had lain in the eastern periphery of AR 12508. The eruption unlikely made it to the interplanetary space. There was no CME following the eruption.

The prominence had apparently started to rise before normal operations resumed. The eruption resulted in a decent CME.
