Seen in 304 A images only, this filament eruption seems to experience deflection while leaving almost no traces in the corona and not changing the background GOES X-ray flux of about B3.5. It makes a nice CME already seen at 16:30 UT in COR1-A data. At later times the CME consists of a typical three-part structure in COR1/2-A. In LASCO data, it is diffuse, emerging from the east limb at 20:12 UT (consistent with the deflection?). Can this be a contributor to the medium storm on June 7 (Dst=-77 nT at 6 UT)?

2013-05-26T17:08:03 --> 2013-05-27T00:00:03
A pair of eruptions from an AR complex, the first moving northward, the second - fainter and more gradual - southward. The set of events looks much like a similar pair that occurred hours earlier, albeit at lesser intensity and extent.

2013-05-26T09:12:03 --> 2013-05-26T14:36:03
Two eruptions from a complex of active regions: the first eruption proceeds northward, with a compact post-eruption arcade in the central regionsof the complex, while the seconds starts as the first ends, moving southward, with a post-eruption arcade in the leading region of the complex. There are long-range (up to 300Mm) distortions in the surrounding QS corona that fade over several hours.

2013-05-17T08:06:03 --> 2013-05-17T10:58:03
This movie shows an M-class flare, after which the eastern part of the filament (in the projection, roughly a third of its length) is gone and a bright arcade develops at the site of the flare. A massive coronal wave is triggered by this event (see my previous annotations). Yes, the western part of the filament (roughly 2/3rds in the plane of sky) do not seem to care. At all. The structure in the highlighted box does not change the shape _at_all_ in responce to all the changes around it and does not even _wiggle_ in the duration of this movie.

2013-05-10T18:10:03 --> 2013-05-11T00:40:03
A giant prominence eruption like a huge plume of 1/2 R_sun across; the eruption velocity in the low corona is already >400 km/s. Much material falls back, lasting 6 hours after the initial eruption.

An X3 flare (with footpoints over the NE limb) exhibits a coronal propagating front very suggestive of being related to an eruption over the NW limb: possible sympathy.

This unwinding surge is initiated after the appearance of a flare to its south. It is unclear whether this is sympathetic activity or pure coincidence. In any case, the surge does a rebound after its first descent, presumably due to an additional impulsive reconnection event lower in the atmosphere.

The flare appears to be closely related with the eruption of a prominence north of the flare region (encircled). During this prominence eruption (21:38-21:48 UT), the closed loops over the flare center started to rise, and the apparent speed increased from about 50 km/s around 21:46 UT to about 180 km/s around 21:58 UT. A bright CME appeared at 22:36 UT in LASCO C2 data, but its development is not yet known at this moment.
