The footpoints of the flare loops in this X1.3 flare are occulted by the east limb. Supra-arcade downflows can be seen near the top of the candle flame, which appears after the impulsive phase.

2014-04-11T18:00:03 --> 2014-04-12T05:50:03
The rain that condenses out of the corona seem to be momentarily trapped above a set of active region loops. Eventually they manage to find a way to disappear (i.e. go out of the 304 passband) or slide down.

2014-04-11T14:30:03 --> 2014-04-11T15:40:03
The surge resulting from this eruption results in a set of field lines traced out by the ejeccting filamentary material (304). The 304 channel clearly delineates separate magnetic subdomains. The intermitent structures at the bonudary of these subdomains is suggestive of bursty reconnection.

2014-04-02T12:38:03 --> 2014-04-02T17:10:03
A sigmoid filament erupts on the NE disk. While the eruptied matter itself is barely visible, this event is followed by major footpoint brightening, dramatic reconfiguration of the overlying field, a coronal wave and a spectacular elongated post-flare arcade.

2014-03-31T14:16:03 --> 2014-04-01T00:00:03
A large complex filament system activates, connecting southern latitudes to the equatorial region and a smallish AR. Lots of fleeting brightenings, twirling loops, and thermal changes.

A most unusual prominence activation over the NE limb, in which what looks like a hedgerow filament is seen to connect in EUV channels to structure towards the north of it, while the entire top part appears to spin as it lifts.

2014-03-10T15:36:03 --> 2014-03-11T00:00:03
A QS filament reaching into the trailing edge of a compact AR destabilizes and erupts, followed by what looks like a similar eruption (but with no obvious filament) in the region leading the AR. As the first filament erupts, robbons form around the leading configuration, suggestion couplings not readily seen in the loop patterns....

A quiet Sun region shows signs of extensive reconfiguration, with ribbons as expected in a QS filament eruption, but without obvious coronal sinatures of such an eruption.

2014-02-16T09:10:11 --> 2014-02-16T10:00:35
The flare was of short duration. In the GOES X-ray light curve, (start, peak, end) = (09:20, 09:26, 09:29). But it launched a nice large-scale coronal propagating front (LCPF) or EUV wave, which was quite fast, e.g., 1000 km s(-1). Apparently, it was also associated with a CME, that at least initially looked like a halo.
