Nice flaring loop with the slit crossing its southern footpoint. There is also abundant coronal rain in the same AR, before and after the flare. (1) Note very regular semi-periodicity in the flaring activity, at roughly 1 hour intervals. (2) Also note the general drop of SJI intensity over this entire observation. (3) SJI spikes around 18:00, 18:30, 19:20 UT correspond to the bumps in the GOES short wavelength (0.5-4 A) channel. The M-flare at 17:00 does not correspond to any activity in this AR, but elsewhere on the Sun.
