Description:
Two flares in quick succession, possibly connected. The first in an active region to the north-west of the field of view. The second, to the center of the field of view, is related to a global coronal ""EIT"" wave seen in 171 A in the EUV. The flare ribbons of this second flare are observed to move apart.
