Description: request to SOT Only SOT/SP is required for this coordination. SP should be operated in a mode so that there is no pixel summation to achieve the highest spatial resolution, using a raster step that is equal to the slit width, and data from the full slit is saved. Because this coordination will likely occur during Hinode's eclipse season, short, non-continuous rasters are acceptable. Rasters of pores should include the entire pore. Rasters of a sunspot do not need to cover the entire sunspot, but should include regions of umbra, penumbra, and granulation. Rasters of plage or quiet-sun should be focused on magnetic elements and should be at least 10" wide. Short rasters should be repeated during a 3 hour observing window. The best time for observations will likely be 18-21 UT for seeing and weather.
