Science Goal: Observations of solar wind source regions observed by Parker Solar Probe
Program: Higher Res Fast Map, 164x164" for near limb
Target: Quiet Sun
xcen=253 ycen=-872
Instrument: SOTSP
HOP/JOP: 366
Description: request to SOT Limb: If the PSP's magnetic footpoint on the disk is on or close to limb, give all telemetry to EIS and XRT for their limb observations of a reasonable duration. Coronal Hole: If the footpoint is on disk in quiet sun or CH or CH boundary: fast map, full FOV, at start and end of encounter (avoiding SAA)
also one in the middle of the encounter, if telemetry permits. Deep mode fast maps (longer integration time for greater sensitivity) can be run if the SAA-free time is long enough to include them (~3 hours). Active Region: If the footpoint is on or close to active region or plage: more or less continuous full-FOV fast maps, with FOV chosen to cover AR and the surroundings, especially on the side where the footpoint is predicted to be. Far side: No observations
