SOTSP: Coronal Hole observations
2007-03-09T11:03:36 to 2007-03-09T12:06:48
Science Goal: Coronal Hole observations
Program: Fast Map, Full FOV
Target: disk center, Coronal Hole
xcen=-258 ycen=-269
Instrument: SOTSP
HOP/JOP: 0
Description: SOT continues to support the near-equatorial coronal hole observations for the first 5 hours of the 10-Mar period. This is followed by 2 hours at the North pole and 2 hours at the East limb for inter-instrument alignment observations. Following the alignment observations, we stay at the East limb for two hours of high-cadence CaH prominence observations, hoping to catch a prominence in the AR rotating around the East limb. The period finishes with an extended disk center observation period in which we run rapid SP Normal maps with 4" (25 step) scans along with Slot FOV FG observations in search of emerging horizontal flux events. Coronal hole: SP 10 Fast Map Full FOV 11:03 - 15:52 UT
