SOT: HOP 72
2008-08-05T07:50:00 to 2008-08-07T09:51:00
Science Goal: Radiative structure of small magnetic elements: faculae, network and inter network in the quiet Sun
Program: Fast map, 62""x82"", single, 1-side CCD, Q75
Target: Quiet Sun
xcen=-37 ycen=27
Instrument: SOT
HOP/JOP: 72
Description: This is modified from the draft plan sent out yesterday. Note that optical eclipses end during this period, our last optical eclipse is near 0 UT on 8/4. However, EIS and XRT will have orbital extinctions for several weeks yet. HOP 72 is the major activity and this timeline overlaps 4 of their observing windows. The current program is a 45 s cadence series of G band/Ca II/CN images with a FOV of 54x54"" and 1x1 summing plus Na I+V images at -172mA with a 61x82"" FOV and 2x2 summing taken in shutterless mode.
