SOT: alignment and prominence
2007-03-09T18:07:00 to 2007-03-09T20:04:00
Science Goal: alignment and prominence
Program: G-band 5 min for alignment and Ca H 30sec
Target: E Limb
xcen=-944 ycen=0
Instrument: SOT
HOP/JOP: 0
Description:
SOT continues to support the near-equatorial coronal hole observations for the first 5 hours of the 10-Mar period. This is followed by 2 hours at the North pole and 2 hours at the East limb for inter-instrument alignment observations. Following the alignment observations, we stay at the East limb for two hours of high-cadence CaH prominence observations, hoping to catch a prominence in the AR rotating around the East limb. The period finishes with an extended disk center observation period in which we run rapid SP Normal maps with 4"" (25 step) scans along with Slot FOV FG observations in search of emerging horizontal flux events. East limb: 1. FG 10 G-band 5 min for alignment 18:07 - 20:04 UT 2. FG13 CaH 1Kx2K 1x1 500ms prominence 20:04 - 22:00 UT 3. FG6 Gband/CaH/BC/Mag 4Kx2K 2x2 22:00 - 23:59 UT
